Notes & assumptions
Uses IRD APIT Table 01 slabs effective 1 April 2025 (personal relief Rs 1,800,000/year; the 12% slab was removed). Annual slabs after relief: Rs 1,000,000 @ 6%, then Rs 500,000 each @ 18%, 24%, 30%, balance @ 36%.
Assumes regular monthly remuneration from primary employment. Non-cash benefits (company vehicle, housing), lump-sum bonuses (Table 02) and secondary employment (Table 03) are not modelled.
Your 8% EPF contribution is deducted from take-home but does not reduce taxable income. Employer EPF/ETF is a cost to the employer, not a deduction from you.
This is an estimate for planning — always confirm against your payslip and the IRD's published tables.
